Over four days in October, the next generation of landscape architecture talent tried its hand at designing one of the most significant landscape projects ever undertaken in Australia: The City of Melbourne’s Greenline Project.今年十月，新一代的景观设计师们相聚墨尔本，开展为期四天的上海交通大学·墨尔本皇家理工大学联合设计营，以澳大利亚有史以来最重要的景观项目之一：墨尔本市“绿线 (The Greenline Project)” 为课程蓝本，共同畅想墨尔本未来。 The research design studio was undertaken with the goal of facilitating international collaboration – both within the practice of landscape architecture, and between two important academic institutions.开展国际高校联合设计营的目的是通过搭建高校与顶尖设计事务所之间的协作，以实际项目为蓝本，共同探讨当下的热点景观设计议题，促进国际学术交流。  The workshop itself was organized, facilitated and led by Ethan Zhang, Senior Landscape Architect at ASPECT Studios in Melbourne. 19 Students from RMIT University were joined by their 11 counterparts from Shanghai Jiaotong University, who made a more than 10,000-kilometre journey from Shanghai to Melbourne, the students highly collaborate in this workshop with the support from T.C.L and AECOM’s Shanghai office.由墨尔本ASPECT工作室高级景观设计师张一涵策划、组织和领导，19名来自皇家墨尔本理工大学（RMIT）的学生与从11名远道而来的上海交通大学设计学院的学生共同参与了本次联合设计营。设计营同时也得到了T.C.L墨尔本办公室和AECOM上海办公室的大力支持。 Ethan Zhang said the studio represented a unique collaboration between the universities and leading design firms, marking “a wonderful moment in the field of landscape architecture.”张一涵表示，此次的高校联合设计营是学校与领先景观设计公司之间一次深度合作，借此推动国际间景观设计领域的融合、交流与发展。”  Opening with a welcome at Melbourne’s Town Hall, the students were warmly received by Lord Mayor Sally Capp, which preceded a scene-setting presentation on the Greenline Project by Skye Haldane, Principal Strategic Design at the City of Melbourne. Then followed a walking tour of the sites involved in the Greenline Project, beginning in Birrarung Marr and ending in Batman Park.本次研讨会在墨尔本市政厅揭幕，市长Sally Capp女士表达了对学生们的热烈欢迎并致辞，随后墨尔本市战略设计负责人Skye Haldane为大家介绍了“绿线 (The Greenline Project)”项目的大致背景情况。学生们下午徒步参观了“绿线(The Greenline Project)”项目的场地现状，并对场地情况有了进一步的认识与了解。   Competing in 4 mixed teams of students from Melbourne and Shanghai, the teams were fully engaged in exploring the untapped potential of the north bank of the Yarra River during the intense three-day design process from 3rd to 5th October, they broke down language barriers and cultural differences, imaged the future of the city together. 上海交通大学设计学与皇家墨尔本理工大学（RMIT）的学生们组成了4个联合设计小组，在10月3日至10月5日三天紧张的设计过程中，各小组全身心地投入，打破了语言的壁垒、消解了文化的差异，共同探索雅拉河北岸尚未开发的潜力，畅想城市未来。  Senior Landscape Architecture, Ethan Zhang from ASPECT Studios, associate professor Wang Lin from SJTU, Lee Parks from AECOM and Sean Song from TCL, guided the whole process of this workshop. Meanwhile, the students were supported by a raft of leading landscape designers, including Kirsten Bauer, Matthew Mackay from ASPECT Studios, Perry Lethlean from TCL, associate Prof. Katrina Simon and Dr Maud Cassaignau from RMIT Landscape Architecture.ASPECT高级景观设计师张一涵、上海交通大学设计学院副教授王玲、AECOM上海办公室景观部门负责人兼设计总监Lee Parks、以及T.C.L.景观设计师宋辰全程指导了本次联合设计。除了设计营的指导老师外，学生们在参与联合设计营期间也得到了众多顶尖景观设计师的支持，包括来自 ASPECT Studios的设计总监 Kirsten Bauer、Matthew Mackay，TCL 的设计总监 Perry Lethlean，皇家墨尔本理工大学景观设计学院的 Katrina Simon 副教授和高级讲师 Maud Cassaignau。  On the last day, these competing visions were presented to a jury of landscape and planning professionals.
