 On Oct. 21, an Australia Boutique opened on Haitang Rd. in Haikou’s Longhua District. This boutique operates through a new retail model of direct sourcing, bringing high-quality Australian products into the local market and providing a one-stop shopping experience for all lovers of the land down under. The Australia Boutique, with a total area of around 3,000 m², has attracted a total investment of around 50 million yuan ($ 7.01 million). On the first floor, shoppers will enjoy exploring an import supermarket filled with premium health products, perfumes, and foods such as beef, mutton, baby formula, and more. On the second, wines from Oz take pride of place, with the Australian Barossa Winery offering a wide variety of five star wines and spirits as well as cigars, western cuisine, and afternoon tea. Head up to the third floor for an open-air Western restaurant and music bar. According to a representative of the project, the Australia Boutique agreement was signed at the 4th China International Consumer Products Expo (Hainan Expo) in April, and now after less than half a year has already opened.
